→ Bring your laptop, charger, and a creative mindset. We'll provide Wi-Fi, snacks, and all the tech support you need.

→ You can join solo and find a team at the event, or register with friends in advance.

Q: How do hackathons work?
→ A hackathon is a creative, collaborative event where participants form teams to build a tech project from scratch within a set time frame — in this case, during SheHacks Austin!

Here’s how it works at SheHacks:
1️⃣ Form Your Team — Don’t have a team yet? No worries! We’ll have a team-building session to help you connect with others.
2️⃣ Brainstorm & Plan — Choose a project idea and outline your goals. Mentors will be available to guide you.
3️⃣ Start Coding — Dive into building your project! Workshops will be available throughout the event to help you gain new skills.
4️⃣ Submit Your Project — Teams will present their projects to judges during the closing ceremony.
5️⃣ Celebrate & Win Prizes! — Prizes will be awarded for creativity, innovation, and impact.
